Mental and behavioral care for you and your loved ones is top priority for the Behavioral Health Center at Saint Francis Healthcare. We offer short-term, solution-oriented treatment for adults and seniors to help you or your loved one achieve your best health.

Here you’ll find a comprehensive program with top quality psychiatric care that’s both personal and confidential. Treatment services in mental health units at Saint Francis Hospital are provided by qualified mental health professionals under the direction of board-eligible psychiatrists. 

Adult Inpatient Psychiatric Program

Our adult psychiatric program includes a range of clinical assessments to help find the heart of the problem. These assessments include medical examinations, psychiatric and psychological evaluations and pharmacist review of medications and interactions. We provide individual and group therapy, recreational therapy, educational groups and medication management to help program participants find a solution. During this short-term, inpatient therapy, you or your loved one will have a private room with a private bath for the duration of stay. When it’s time for discharge, our experts help to plan and implement care for the program participant.

Senior Adult Psychiatric Program

Our senior program addresses common difficulties experienced by seniors, such as memory loss, confusion, declining physical abilities, decreased social activity, depression and other mood changes, loss of friends and loved ones, and an inability to maintain daily living skills. We offer patient and caregiver support, education and therapy groups to meet the needs of our senior program participants. In a hospital setting, we are able to provide 24 hour nursing care, nutritionists and other full-service hospital personnel committed to improving patients’ health.
