Saint Francis Healthcare is pleased to welcome Amy Lewis MSN, RN as the new Emergency Department Director at Saint Francis Hospital-Memphis, effective March 3, 2021.  In this role, Lewis will direct and supervise staff, workflow and throughput in the Emergency Department.

“Amy is a very talented nurse leader and I am confident our staff and community will benefit from her governance in the ER,” said Sally Deitch, Saint Francis Healthcare Market CEO.  “We have the privilege of serving thousands of people each year in our Emergency Department. With Amy at the helm of our efforts, we look forward to continue caring for all who need us during their emergencies.”

Lewis arrives to Saint Francis Hospital-Memphis from Fountain Valley Regional Hospital where she served as an Emergency Room Manager since June 2019.

“There is a lot of opportunity in the Emergency Department at Saint Francis Hospital-Memphis,” said Lewis. “I am eager to get started on collaborating with our team and implementing best practices that will better enable our staff to provide the safest, most efficient and most effective care possible for our community.”  

Lewis earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from William Carey University followed by her Master of Science in Nursing degree from the University of South Alabama. She and husband Jeff have three adult children.
